Fine across the Mediterranean
Today
Heavy rain is expected across Russia today and also across the Baltic States and Belarus. A lot of cloud but a dry day for Finland while Norway and Sweden has good sunny spells. Lots of dry, sunny weather to come across England, Belgium, Holland and across much of France. While southern Germany will be dry showers are expected in the north and across Denmark into Poland with a few heavy ones. For the Ukraine into Romania, Hungry, the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey it's looking sunny and warm. Just a few showers for eastern Spain today otherwise dry across Iberia, very warm and sunny and this fine weather extends east across the Balearics into Italy as well.

A large area of high pressure will keep it fine and settled with sunny skies across Sweden, Finland, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Belgium and France. Sunny and hot across Portugal and Spain across into the Balearics. Some heavy showers are forecast for the south of Italy today with the north mainly dry. For Germany, the Alpine Region into Poland and the Baltic States it's a day of sunshine and showers, a few heavy ones. Rain soon clears Finland but a very wet day across Russia with heavy rain. Just a few scattered showers to come across Hungary, Belarus and the Ukraine with sunny spells. More cloudy today across the former Yugoslavia but dry. Sunny and fine weather will persist across Greece and Turkey.
