Sunny for southern Europe but rain in the north
Saturday
A fine day for Spain and Portugal once again with sunny spells here, although the threat of a shower breaking out later. More dry weather and very warm too across France with sunny spells here. A dry day for the Low Countries with sunny spells. Dry for Germany and Poland with sunshine and this sunshine extending through Austria, Hungary and Switzerland; there could be some morning mist and fog patches here though.
Low pressure brings heavy showers in southern Italy and Greece, the showers affecting Turkey as well and again becoming quite heavy. More fair but breezy weather for Bulgaria and Romania.
Cloud and some showers in the Baltic States and Finland with most of Sweden being rather cloudy but mainly dry. Rain affecting Denmark and western parts of Norway.
Sunday
Some showers across northern parts of Spain and Portugal today, although for most of the country the day is going to be dry with sunny spells. It will be staying fair over central and southern parts of France, but some outbreaks of rain and showers affecting more northern and western areas. Cloud and some showery rain in the Low Countries. Germany should have a fine day with lots of sunshine and will be feeling warm. More warm conditions over Poland with sunny spells. Cloud and some spots of rain into Hungary, but Austria and Switzerland and likely to be dry with sunny spells throughout the day.
Italy should have a fair day with lots of sunshine throughout and it will be feeling warm here as well. More sunshine across Greece, although some heavy showers breaking out here too. Heavy showers again for Turkey and the risk of some thunderstorms in places. Further thunderstorms and heavy showers affecting Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north there will be cloud and some outbreaks of rain through the Baltic States. More persistent rain into Finland, some of it heavy. Further spells of rain across southern and central Sweden, with cloud and rain across Denmark to./ Sunshine and showers across Norway.
