Rain and showers for central Europe, improving to the south
Saturday
A fair day to come across Spain and Portugal. Good spells of sunshine here through the day, but some showers i the north. Cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting northern parts of France, but dry to the south. More unsettled weather through much of eastern Europe. Here there will be showers over the Low Countries with more persistent and heavier rain through Germany and Poland. There will be cloud and outbreaks of rain in Hungary too with heavy showers for Austria and Switzerland.
Italy has low pressure dominating conditions and this will allow heavy showers to develop, some of them thundery. More heavy showers and thunderstorms merging into longer periods of rain over Greece. Turkey and Cyprus should be dry with sunny spells, this sunshine extending through Bulgaria and Romania.
Sunny spells and dry weather over the Baltic States. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain for Finland, with cloud and some spots of rain in Sweden too. More rain in Denmark and southern Norway with central and northern areas dry with sunny spells.

A fair day to come over Portugal and Spain today with some good spells of sunshine. There will be heavy showers over France, and these may merge into longer periods of rain through more northern areas. Cloud and heavy showers over the Low Countries and Germany, with some cloud and drizzle through Poland. Hungary is going to be cloudy and wet with some heavy periods of rain. Heavy showers for Austria and Switzerland.
Cloud and rain or showers over the northern half of Wales. More southern parts will be dry with sunny spells. Fair for Greece with sunny spells, but showers affecting the west of Turkey. Elsewhere Turkey should be dry with sunny spells. Bulgaria and Romania will have showers, then longer spells of rain.
The Baltic States will have some showery bursts of rain whilst Finland will have sunny spells and showers. Rain across the southern half of Sweden with fair weather to the north. Cloud and rain through Denmark, but for Norway it should be dry with good spells of sunshine.
