A fair and misty start through central Europe, some rain to north
Thursday
A fine day across Spain and Portugal. There will be good spells of sunshine here and it should be dry as well. More sunshine to come over the south of France, although breezier conditions affecting the north of France too. A windy day to come through the Low Countries and northern parts of Germany and Poland with the risk of some drizzle here. Austria, Switzerland and Hungary should all be dry with some sunny spells.
For Italy the day should be dry with sunny spells and fairly warm weather here too. Staying dry with some more sunshine for Greece and Turkey, the sunny spells extending into Bulgaria and Romania.
A breezy day for the Baltic States with sunny spells here. Some showers for Finland and cloud with heavy periods of rain passing through Denmark and into the south of Sweden. More rain to come for the far south and the far north of Norway, but sunny spells in between.
Friday
High pressure brings another fine day over Spain and Portugal. There will be some good spells of sunshine here throughout the day, and this sunshine will be extending north through most of France. There will be cloud and some outbreaks of rain through the Low Countries, Germany and southern parts of Poland. For Hungary, Austria and Switzerland the day is going to be starting dry but foggy. This fog lifting to leave plenty of sunshine and dry conditions.
Italy is going to be having a fine day. Here there will be more sunshine and it should again be dry throughout the day after morning mist and fog patches have cleared. Yet more sunshine to come through Greece and Turkey and staying dry here as well. Further periods of sunshine through Bulgaria and Romania, although the mist and fog patches may be slower to clear from here.
To the north the Baltic States will be having some showers, a few of them heavy. More showers to come across Finland, again some on the heavy side. A few showers for the far south of Sweden but on the whole a dry day with good spells of sunshine. More showers through Denmark and then some rain over western parts of Norway.
