A windy day across much of Europe and unsettled as well. Outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain is expected across the far south of England into France into southern Germany and Hungary. A day of sunshine and showers across Belgium, Holland and Denmark. Cold with snow expected across Norway and northern Sweden and Finland. Rain though is expected across southern Sweden. Wet today across Poland, The Baltic States into Russia and the Ukraine with spells of heavy rain. Best of the weather today will be across Iberia with sunny skies and the warmest temperatures. Fine as well across the Balearics into Italy, the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania with a dry, mostly sunny day.

Sunnier with a few showers today across England. A belt of heavy rain will lie across the English Channel into northern France, into the Low Countries, Denmark into northern parts of Germany and Poland and this extends eastward across Belarus into Russia. Showers will move into Portugal this afternoon but a fine day across Spain into the Balearics. There is a risk of some light rain across parts of Italy today. Lots of fine sunshine today across the former Yugoslavia into Greece, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria and the Ukraine. Some rain across the Alpine Region today. Sunny and dry across Hungary, southern Germany and southern parts of Poland. Outbreaks of snow are forecast across Norway, Northern Sweden and Finland, some of this will be heavy.
