Mainly a dry, chilly day across Britain today. Dry as well across Germany, eastern and southern parts of France with rain in the west and this rain extends across northern Spain. Fair and dry across southern Spain with a few scattered showers around the Balearics. Some light rain to come across Belgium and Holland with heavier rain across Denmark and some snow across southern Sweden. Mainly dry but very cold across Norway and Finland. Temperatures will be well below freezing across Scandinavia today. Outbreaks of rain are forecast across Russia into the Baltic States. Fair and dry across Poland, The Ukraine, Romania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey with sunny spells. Outbreaks of rain are expected across Hungry, Austria and the former Yugoslavia with snow over the Alps. Expect a day of sunshine and showers across Italy today.

Rain is forecast across southern parts of France and southern Spain with showers across the Balearics into Italy and more snow over the Alps.
