More cloud and rain across southern areas, but brighter and cold to the north

Sunday
Cloud and rain into Portugal today, but dry with sunny spells across Spain. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain and sleet across central and southern France. The north will be dry and cold with some bright spells. Cold again across the Low Countries with widespread mist and fog patches, but some snow showers across northern Germany and Poland. Cloud and snow across Austria and Hungary with drizzle and damp weather for Switzerland.
High pressure through Italy brings fair weather here with plenty of sunshine. A fine and warm day across Greece and Turkey and this sunshine extends through Bulgaria and Romania too.
To the north it will be cloudy with sleet and snow over the Baltic States and southern Finland. Some snow showers over eastern and southern Sweden. Snow showers for Denmark and Norway, some of them heavy at times.

Monday
A mild day across Spain and Portugal. There will be some cloud, mainly through Portugal where drizzle could affect the coasts. Cloud and rain across the south and west of France, some of it heavy. To the north it is going to be chilly and misty. Chilly through the Low Countries as well and staying foggy across much of Germany and Poland. More cloud and some rain affecting Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Cloud and some drizzle over the north of Italy, but the south is going to be dry with sunny spells, the best of them to the east. Warm and fine weather continues over Greece and Turkey, although there will be some cloud and rain across eastern Cyprus and Turkey. Bulgaria and Romania will be dry with sunny spells, although morning mist and fog.
To the north low pressure brings strong winds and heavy periods of rain across the Baltic States and Finland, some of this heavy at times. Sunny spells for southern Sweden and dry here too. Showers across Denmark and southern Norway, although snow showers to the north.
