Cold weather remains in the north as central Europe is unsettled
Tuesday
Cloud and rain across much of Iberia for Tuesday. Fair over eastern and southern parts of the country with sunny spells. More cloud and rain across France and some of this is going to be heavy at times. For the Low Countries and Germany the day is going to be brighter with sunny spells, although thicker cloud and rain affects more southern areas. For Hungary, Austria and Switzerland there will be some bright spells and showers.
Italy has low pressure bringing showers with some more persistent rain over northern areas. Greece and Turkey will be dry with plenty of sunshine and it is going to be warm here too. More sunny spells to come across Bulgaria and Romania.
Showers across the Baltic States and Finland, a few of the snow showers heavy later. For Sweden there will be snow showers or longer periods of snow. More cloud and snow across Denmark and further snow showers for the north and west of Norway.
Wednesday
Drizzle across Portugal today, but fair for most of Spain. Cloud and periods of rain for most of France, this concentrated over southern areas. Colder to the north of France and this cold weather turning the rain to snow here. Very cold for the Low Countries and northern parts of Germany with sunny spells and some snow showers. Northern Poland will be dry overall with sunny spells, although southern Poland and Germany have more persistent snow. Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland have some cloud with outbreaks of rain.
Showers and some rain over northern Italy, but more central and southern areas will be brighter and dry with some sunny spells. Fair through Greece and Turkey with plenty of sunshine to come here. Fair with sunny spells across Bulgaria and Romania with sunny spells.
Fair across the Baltic States and Finland with a low risk of some snow flurries. Fair for Sweden with some snow showers over Denmark. Norway should be fair.
