Spells of heavy snow central and eastern areas

Today
A dry day bit with a lot of cloud across Britain today. A fine day for France with sunny spells. Fair and dry as well for Belgium. Cold today with outbreaks of snow to fall across Holland, Denmark, Germany and across into Poland, southern Sweden, Belarus, The Baltic States in to Russia. Light snow too is in the forecast for Hungry, The former Yugoslavia and becomes heavier across Bulgaria and northern Greece. Heavy rain showers will affect southern Greece with rain and freezing rain across Turkey. A very cold but dry day to come across the Ukraine, Norway, northern Sweden and Finland with sub zero temperatures expected. Colder today across northern Spain with a few snow flurries, dry and sunnier in the south, milder as well. Fine across into the Balearics and Italy with snow expected across Austria.

Tuesday
The bitter cold continues across eastern Europe today. Some rain comes into England today with a risk of snow flurries into Belgium and Holland. Some snow is expected across Norway today but sunny, very cold conditions across Sweden, Finland and Denmark. An area of snow is expected across Germany, Poland, The Baltic States, Belarus into Romania and the former Yugoslavia while it looks fine and dry for Bulgaria and Greece. Wet with rain today across Turkey. An area of rain and snow is expected across southern Italy with the north fair and dry. Just a few showers for some eastern parts of Spain into the Balearics. Another fine, dry day to come across France with sunny spells. A bitterly cold day across Russia and the Ukraine with snow expected across parts of Romania.
