Today
The weather will be fair and dry across Britain today. Light rain and drizzle is expected across northern France into Belgium, Holland, Denmark into northern parts of Germany and Poland. Cold and sunny weather is expected across Sweden today. Dry for southern France and southern parts of Germany and Poland with light rain over the Alps. Cold across Scandinavia with snow showers across western Norway and heavier snow expected across Finland into Russia. Spells of sleet and rain are expected across The Baltic States and Belarus with snow across eastern parts of the Ukraine. Lots of dry weather continues across Hungry, the former Yugoslavia, Romania, the western Ukraine, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Fair and dry across Spain with good sunny spells from the Balearics into Italy.

Wednesday
Continued fine and dry with sunny spells across the United Kingdom. Dry across France but some light sleet and snow will affect some eastern areas with snow across Germany, Switzerland and Austria where it will be heavier. There is a risk of some heavy showers today across Belgium and Holland but dry and sunny for Denmark up into much of Norway and Sweden though snow showers are expected across western Norway while an area of heavy snow is expected across Finland, the Baltic States and western Russia into the Ukraine. Cloudy across Poland with rain, sleet and snow. Some light rain is expected across Hungary today. More fine, dry weather to come for Romania, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey with sunny spells. Some light rain is expected across Portugal and the far north of Spain but dry across central and southern Spain across the Balearics into Italy.
