Cold across Iberia

Today
A dry, cold and mostly sunny day across Britain today and this dry weather extends across the channel into France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. Very cold today but it looks dry for Norway, Sweden and Finland while heavy snow continues across Russia. Mainly dry and very cold across the Baltic States into Hungry, Romania, The Ukraine down into the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. Further snow is likely to fall across Turkey but mainly dry and cold across Greece. A wet day across Italy today with spells of heavy rain. Still some snow flurries to come across northern Spain but dry and sunny in the south and across into the Balearics. Outbreaks of snow are likely today over the French and Italian Alps.

Monday
Continued fine and dry across England today as high pressure dominates. This fine, dry weather is also expected across all of France, into Germany, Denmark, Holland and Belgium. Still quite a chilly day across Portugal and Spain but dry and sunny. A rash of heavy showers are expected across the Balearics. Dry across Corsica, Sardinia and much of Italy though a few showers are possible in the south. It stays bitterly cold across eastern parts of Europe but dry today across Russia, The Baltic States, Belarus, Hungry, Romania and the former Yugoslavia. Heavy snow is forecast across Finland and the Ukraine today. Dry and sunny across Greece and western Turkey while snow is forecast in eastern Turkey and may be heavy. Very cold again across Scandinavia. Snow showers will affect western Norway. Eastern Norway and Sweden look fine and dry.
