Mild through western Europe, plenty of sunshine to the southeast
Sunday
High pressure brings good spells of sunshine through Spain and Portugal today. There will be some cloud and outbreaks of drizzle to the northeast, but for most it should be dry. Cloud and some drizzle over southern and eastern France, but fine to the west and north with sunshine here. More sunny spells to come through the Low Countries with a scattering of showers. Bright with a few showers in northern and western Germany, although cloud and rain affecting the east and this moving into Poland too. Fair across Hungary with sunny spells and fair but cold across Switzerland and Austria too.
Fair across Italy with good spells of sunshine to come here. More sunshine across Greece and Turkey and feeling warm here in the sunshine. Cloud and some drizzle over Bulgaria and Turkey where there will be mist and fog patches too.
Finland has cloud, sleet and snow. Heavy periods of sleet and snow over Finland. Sunny spells and heavy showers across Sweden. Breezy for Denmark with a scattering of showers, but generally fair here. Low pressure west of Norway brings sleet and snow here, some of it heavy.
Monday
Cloud and rain affecting the western coasts of Portugal today. Most of Spain is going to be fair and dry with good spells of sunshine. More sunny spells across France, although there will be some mist and fog patches here as well. Sunny spells for the Low Countries and dry here as well. Mist and fog patches over Germany, but these slowly clearing, especially from the north, with sunny spells forming. Similar conditions across Poland. Hungary will have more cloud and some drizzle, but this clearing to sunny spells. Fair for Austria and Switzerland, although some morning mist and fog patches here. These clearing to sunny spells.
Low pressure brings showers to northern Italy, but for most of the country the day will be fair with some sunny spells. Plenty of sunshine across Greece, Crete, Cyprus and Turkey, and dry here as well. More sunny spells for Bulgaria and Romania once morning mist and fog patches clear.
Some wintry showers across Finland and the Baltic States, and these could be heavy at times too. Scattered wintry showers for Sweden and Denmark, where it will be breezy too. More showers affecting western parts of Norway, some of them heavy.
