Warm with good spells of sunshine in southern Europe, but some cloud and rain to the north
Wednesday
Plenty of sunshine to come across Spain and Portugal and feeling warm too. Some cloud and drizzle affecting western and northern parts of France, although the east and south will be drier with hazy sunshine. Wet and windy across the Low Countries, the rain reaching western Germany later. The eastern half of Germany should be dry, as will be Poland with sunny spells. A fair day for Austria and Hungary with sunny spells, and staying fine through Switzerland too.
Fine across Italy with some sunshine to come here. Unsettled for Greece with showers to the west and south, some of them heavy. These heavy showers affecting western Turkey too, although the east will be dry with sunny spells. More sunny spells and dry weather for Bulgaria and Romania, although some showers to the west.
Breezy with cloud, sleet and snow through the Baltic States and Finland, some of it heavy at times. Fair weather for Sweden. Fair with sunshine through the morning in Denmark, then rain and sleet later. A fair day to come across Norway, although cold here too.
Thursday
Fine with plenty of sunshine across Portugal and Spain today. The sunshine extends through France, the best of it to the south. Cloud and a risk of some spots of drizzle for the Low Countries, with rain affecting the north and east of Germany as well as southern Poland. For Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland there will be fair weather with good spells of sunshine and it should feel warm too.
Italy will be having a fine day through Thursday with plenty of sunshine throughout. Some dry and sunny weather in western Greece, but showers to the east. More showers across Crete and Cyprus as well as western Turkey, with most of the rest of Turkey dry with sunny spells. Generally dry across Bulgaria and Romania.
Low pressure across western Russ brings unsettled weather here with cloud and strong winds. There will be snow, clearing east and being replaced by snow showers. A fair day across Sweden with some sunny spells, which cloud and some showers affect Denmark and western Sweden.
