More sunshine for southern areas, but cloud and rain to the north
Friday
Fair and sunny across Portugal and Spain again today with lots of sunshine. It will be remaining fine across most of France too, although some morning mist here. An area of cloud and some showers affecting the far northwest of the country. More cloud and some showery rain affecting the Low Countries, and this area of rain affects northern Germany too. The cloud and rain extending into Poland. Austria, Hungary and Poland will have sunny spells and drier conditions with sunny spells.
Italy should have a fair day as high pressure builds with lots of sunshine here throughout the day. More sunshine to come across Greece and Crete, with the sunshine remaining across Cyprus and Turkey. Bulgaria and Romania has cloud and some periods of rain and sleet.
Fair across the Baltic States where it is going to be dry. Cold with some isolated snow showers for Finland. More fair weather for most of Sweden although some snow in the far south. More cloud, sleet and snow over Denmark and the south of Sweden, although fair for central and northern parts of Sweden.
Saturday
Fine for Portugal and Spain with plenty of sunshine and dry weather. More sunshine to come across France, although there is a further risk of mist and fog. A fair and mild day across the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland, where again there will be plenty of sunshine. Fine too through Hungary, Austria and Switzerland where there will be sunshine and dry weather through the day. Feeling mild here too.
Italy will be largely fair with sunny spells, although there is a risk of some showers affecting the high ground of Italy through the day. More sunshine to come across Greece and Turkey and it should be dry here too. Some rain and cloud moving into Bulgaria and Romania.
The Baltic States will be cold with sunny spells and a scattering of wintry showers, whilst Filand should be dry with sunny spells. Cold and dry across Sweden with more sunshine here. Dry but mild for Denmark, with rain and cloud reaching Norway in the afternoon.
