Cold across Spain
Today
A cloudy day across England with some patchy light rain and this extends across the channel into Belgium and Holland and into northern Germany. Fair and dry across France today with sunny spells and dry too across central and southern Germany. Very cold and wintry conditions today across eastern parts of Europe and we are likely see outbreaks of snow across Poland, The Baltic States into Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine. Another area of heavier snow is expected across the former Yugoslavia, Romania and Bulgaria. Showers are expected across parts of Greece and across western parts of Turkey where they may be heavier. Very cold too across Scandinavia. Snow is forecast across northern Norway and northern Sweden with the south fair and dry. Cloudy but dry across Finland today. Cold across Portugal and Spain today but mainly dry though showers may threaten the eastern coasts and across the Balearics and across Corsica, Sardinia into Scilly and the southern half of Italy. Dry in the north of Italy today but cold.

Mainly a dry day to come across Britain. Light rain is forecast for northern France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. Central and southern France will be dry with sunny spells. Cold across Germany with snow and this extends across Poland, The Ukraine into southern Russia. Heavy snow showers will fall across western Norway with snow and freezing rain into Sweden and snow for Finland today. Dry and cold across the Baltic States and northern Russia. More snow to fall across the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria today but a dry day across Romania and Hungry. Cloudy with rain today for Greece and much of Turkey. Some rain will affect the far south of Italy but much of the country looks dry with sunny spells. During the day rain moves into the far south of Portugal and Spain. Most of Iberia looks fair and dry bit still cold across Spain. Dry and sunnier today across the Balearics. Heavy snow is forecast across Austria and Switzerland.
