Cloudy and wet across southern Europe, but drier and colder to the north
Friday
Low pressure bringing showers across Spain and Portugal, some of them heavy at times. Dry for France but chilly in the northeast wind. A breezy day across the Low Countries as well, cold here but dry. Staying dry across Germany and Poland and feeling cold in the sunshine. More dry weather with sunshine across Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Northern parts of Italy will be dry with sunny spells, although central and southern parts of the country will have more cloud and outbreaks of rain. There will be more rain and cloud through Greece and this is going to be affecting southern parts of Turkey too. Northern Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania will be dry and chilly with some sunny spells.
Cloud and drizzle affects the Baltic States and it will be breezy here. Finland will be cloudy with some outbreaks of snow over Finland. These outbreaks of rain continue to affect northern Norway and Sweden, whilst the south is going to be dry and bright. Denmark should be dry with sunny spells.

Rain affecting southern parts of Portugal and Spain today, some of it heavy at times. The north of Iberia will be dry with sunny spells. A cold day to come across France with good spells of sunshine, although there could be cloud in the south, Broken cloud and dry weather through the Low Countries, Germany and Poland where it is going to be cold as well. Broken cloud and some sleet through Hungary and Austria, dry across Switzerland.
Fair for northern parts of Italy with some bright spells. Central and southern parts of Italy will be cloudy and damp with outbreaks of rain. More rain across Greece and Turkey, some of the rain heavy at times and turning to sleet and snow over the hills of Turkey. Bulgaria and Romania will be dry with sunny spells and feeling cold here as well.
Windy weather through the Baltic States with broken cloud. Snow across Finland where the winds may be to gale force as well. Some snow across the north of Norway, whilst southern areas will be breezy with some snow showers here. Mainly dry in Denmark but cold and breezy, whilst much of Norway is cold and breezy with sunny spells and a few snow showers on the coasts.
