Cold but fine and dry across England today with sunny spells. Fine and dry too across northern France across the Low Countries, Demark and across into Germany. It becomes even colder into Poland, Hungry, The Baltic States and The Ukraine and Belarus with sunny weather expected. Bitterly cold across Scandinavia with snow forecast for Norway, Finland and into Russia today. Sunny and dry across Romania and the former Yugoslavia with outbreaks of snow across Greece and Turkey. Some light snow is also likely across Italy with heavy rain across Corsica and Sardinia with showers across the Balearics. Cold across Spain with a risk of some snow in the north and rain showers in the south.

Another dry, cold and mostly sunny day across Britain today and this dry weather extends across the channel into France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. Very cold today but it looks dry for Norway, Sweden and Finland while heavy snow continues across Russia. Mainly dry and very cold across the Baltic States into Hungry, Romania, The Ukraine down into the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. Further snow is likely to fall across Turkey but mainly dry and cold across Greece. A wet day across Italy today with spells of heavy rain. Still some snow flurries to come across northern Spain but dry and sunny in the south and across into the Balearics. Outbreaks of snow are likely today over the French and Italian Alps.
