Fair in eastern areas as high pressure builds, but rain affecting much of the west

Monday
Increasing cloud over Portugal, but it should be mainly dry here. A dry day across Spain with plenty of sunshine here too. Dry for most of France with sunny spells, although there will be cloud and showers affecting eastern France. Showers for the eastern Low Countries, this rain moving into western Germany too. Cloud and rain across Poland. Hungary should be dry with sunny spells. Fair for most of Austria although there will be showers through Switzerland.
Fine for most of Italy although there will be some mist and fog patches through the morning. These should be slowly clearing during the day to leave lots of sunshine. More sunshine across Greece whilst Turkey may have an odd shower here and there. Generally fair and cold through Bulgaria and Romania.
High pressure over Scandinavia brings dry weather through Finland and the Baltic States, although it will be cold here. A breezy day for much of Sweden, although cloud and outbreaks of rain affect Norway and Denmark.

Tuesday
Cloud and some rain affecting southern and eastern parts of Spain today with showers following to Portugal. There will be cloud and showery bursts of rain across western and northern France too. More cloud and some rain reaching the Low Countries later. Germany should be brighter with some sunny spells here, although showery rain affecting Poland. Hungary having a dry day with sunny spells, but showers for Austria. Switzerland should be dry with sunshine.
Cloud and showery rain affecting the north of Italy, but for most of the country the day should be dry with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come across Greece and the chance of showers for Greece, more persistent rain to the south. There will be cloud and showers for Bulgaria and Romania, although western parts of these countries are going to be dry.
High pressure over northern Scandinavia brings a very cold but fair day through Finland. There will be more dry weather and lots of sunshine for the Baltic States too. Dry and cold again again across Sweden whilst Norway should be windy and damp with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, these extending through Denmark too.
