Snow in southern Italy

Today
Very mild but wet today across England. This area of rain extends down into western France. Dry across eastern France into Belgium, Holland, Germany and western Poland. Fine and sunny across Switzerland and Austria into Hungry. Cloudy today across Denmark but dry. Outbreaks of snow are forecast across Norway while Sweden looks cold but dry with sunny spells. Cloudy but mainly dry across Finland and Russia. More snow is in the forecast for The Ukraine, eastern Poland, Belarus parts of Romania, Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavia. Cloudy and unsettled across Greece and Turkey with showers and longer spells of rain. Expect some patchy sleet and snow across southern Italy with the north fair and dry. Fine, dry and mostly sunny across Spain and Portugal with a few showers around the Balearics.

A dry but mild and cloudy day across Britain today. Some rain to come across Belgium, Holland and western parts of Germany and southern France. There is a risk of freezing rain today across Denmark for a time as outbreaks of snow spread up into Norway and Sweden. A dry but cold and cloudy day across Finland. Snow is forecast for Russia into The Ukraine, across Romania into Bulgaria. More rain is forecast across Greece with a few showers for western parts of Turkey. Heavy snow is expected across Serbia, Bosnia and Albania but fair and dry across Poland, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungry and Austria. Mainly fair and dry across Italy but some rain and snow is possible the far south. Lots of fine sunshine to come across Portugal, Spain into the Balearics.
