More heavy snow for eastern Europe and bitterly cold
Today
Cloudy and feeling cold across England with some light rain and sleetiness. Some light rain to come across north eastern France, Belgium and Holland with a dry day for Denmark, much of Germany, Poland and Hungry but colder heading east. Dry across central and southern France. Some snow though is likely across Bavaria and across Switzerland today. Very cold across Scandinavia today with heavy snow across Finland but dry and sunny across Norway and Sweden. Very cold, dry and cloudy across Russia today. Dry too across The Baltic States. Outbreaks of snow will fall across the Ukraine, with some light snow showers for Bulgaria and Albania. Fair and dry across the former Yugoslavia and Greece with a day of sunny spells and showers across Turkey. Very unsettled across Italy with outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow. Lots showers are expected across the Balearics into Sardinia and Corsica. Cold across Spain with a risk of snow in the north, dry and sunny in the south.

Mainly dry across England today. A few showers to come around the channel and near northern France. Mostly a dry but cold day across France though a few snow flurries may affect the central massif. Cold but dry across Norway today. Some light snow is expected across Sweden and Norway. Very cold but a dry day across Russia, The Baltic States and Belarus. Outbreaks of heavy snow are forecast across The Ukraine. Snow clears Romania by the afternoon with light snow across the former Yugoslavia and light rain into Greece. Just a few showers today across Turkey. The wet, windy, miserable weather continues today across Italy with heavy rain and some snow in the north. More heavy showers to come across the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia today. A few wintry showers to come across northern Spain but dry across much of the country with sunny spells. Fair and dry across The Low Countries, Denmark, Germany and Poland.
