Rain, sleet and snow for Italy
Today
Outbreaks of rain move into England today and also into western France. Today eastern France looks dry with some sunshine. Fair and dry as well across Portugal into Spain with a few showers for the Balearics. There is a risk of snow across Italy, the Alps into southern Germany, Hungry, the former Yugoslavia into Poland and The Ukraine. A dry day to come for Belgium, Holland, Denmark, central and southern parts of Germany and Norway. Outbreaks of snow are expected across Sweden. Dry and very cold across Finland, The Baltic States and Russia. Heavy rain will fall across Greece today but dry across Turkey and Romania.
Tuesday
Cloudy with more rain across Britain today. Largely dry across France but just a few showers in the far west. A few showers too for northern Spain and across Portugal. Fair and dry across central and southern Spain across the Balearics. Cloudy across southern Italy with rain and shower, perhaps mixed with some sleet but dry in the north. Some snow today across Bavaria otherwise a dry day across Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and western Poland. A large area of snow will affect eastern Poland, Belarus, The Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and parts of the former Yugoslavia, Some heavy falls are likely. Mainly a dry day across Greece with showers for much of Turkey. Some snow to come across the south of Sweden and Finland, dry to the north and dry as well across Norway but bitterly cold today across Scandinavia. Dry and very cold as well across Russia and the Baltic States.
