Today
A lot of dry weather to come today across England, France, The Low Countries, into Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium as high pressure dominates. Fine across Spain and Portugal as well but still cold. Heavy snow showers to come today across Poland with heavy snow expected across The Baltic States, Belarus, Russia, The Ukraine and Romania. Dry and sunny today across the former Yugoslavia with snow showers across Hungry and rain showers for Greece and Turkey. More rain and showers will affect southern Italy but dry and sunnier in the north and across the Alps. Very cold but sunny today across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

High pressure in Europe will give much of western and central parts of Europe a settled day. Fair and dry with some sunshine and varying cloud across England, France across Belgium, the Netherlands into Germany but rather cold. Dry too across Portugal, Spain and into the Balearics with good sunny spells. Expect a few snow showers today over the Alps with much of Italy cold but dry. More snow will fall across the former Yugoslavia, Romania, The Ukraine, into Russia and this will be heavy. Heavy showers will affect Greece with snow showers and sunny spells for Turkey. Sunny and cold across The Baltic States, Belarus and Poland. Heavy snow showers to come for western Norway. Sunny and dry for eastern Norway and southern Finland.
