Another fine, warm day across England, northern France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark with sunny spells. This fine weather stretches north into Norway and Sweden and east across into Finland, Russia, Belarus, Poland and across into the Ukraine. Lots of very warm sunshine today across Portugal and Spain with just a few sharp afternoon showers. Sunny across the Balearics but heavy showers and thunderstorms will affect the Alps, Italy, Hungry, Greece, the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. Some torrential downpours are likely in these showers. Mainly sunny and dry across Romania and western Turkey with heavy showers in the east.

Rain moves into the far south of England today with a wet day across the channel into northern France. Some heavy, thundery showers will affect western France and Portugal. It's a day of sunshine and heavy showers as well across Belgium and Holland into Germany, across The Alps into northern Italy, Corsica and Sardinia. Fine across Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Poland, The Baltic States, Russia into the Ukraine, Belarus and Romania. Vey warm across eastern Europe with long sunny spells with high pressure in control. Sunnier, very warm and drier across the former Yugoslavia with just the odd shower. Sunny and warm for Bulgaria, Greece and western Turkey while heavy showers and thunderstorms affect eastern Turkey. Very warm and sunny across Spain with a few afternoon showers developing.
