Central Europe stays unsettled with high pressure hanging on in the east
Monday
Showers will be developing today over inland parts of Spain and Portugal, some of them becoming heavy and thundery. It should be a dry and bright day over central and southern France, but to the north there will be some heavy showers. Low pressure brings some thundery showers to the Low Countries and Germany too. Similar conditions across Austria and Switzerland as well as northern Italy.
For central and southern Italy the day will be hot and sunny, although some afternoon heavy showers will be forming inland. Greece and Turkey will enjoy fine days with lots of sunshine throughout, and it should be warm too. Staying fine and warm across Bulgaria and Romania.
High pressure brings a fine day to Finland and the Baltic States. More cloud for southern Sweden with southern Norway seeing cloud too. Denmark may have broken cloud and a little drizzle at first.
Tuesday
Cloud and thundery rain affect much of northern and central Iberia through the course of today. The south should be dry but cool. More thundery showers across much of western France and the UK. Thunderstorms developing int the afternoon for Germany, Switzerland and Poland.
For Italy there will be some thundery showers in the west, but most other places should stay dry with sunny spells. Greece and Turkey are likely to have fine days with sunny spells here throughout the day. The sunshine extends into Bulgaria and Romania.
For Finland the day will be fine and sunny, albeit breezy. Some hefty showers affecting parts of Sweden, but Denmark should be dry. Showers across central and western parts of Norway.
