Fine for much of central and southern Europe today, but some rain or showers in the north
Wednesday
High pressure is going to be bringing lots of dry weather and sunshine through Portugal and Spain. It will be staying fine across France as well with more sunshine to come here, and this fair weather stays across most central parts of Europe.
The Mediterranean stays in fine conditions with more sunshine throughout. There is the threat of a few showers affecting eastern parts of the Mediterranean, especially over the high ground of Greece and Turkey.
To the north low pressure brings an unsettled day through Scandinavia. There will be showery outbreaks of rain for the Baltic States and Finland. A windy day over Denmark and southern Sweden with more rain here. Norway should be mainly fair with some sunny spells here.
Thursday
A few showers are likely over the mountains of Spain today. Portugal and the rest of Spain should be fine with good spells of sunshine. More fair weather across most of the Mediterranean with the Balearic's, Italy, southern France, Greece and Turkey all experiencing mainly dry weather and lots of warm sunshine.
Across central parts fronts will spread east bringing some outbreaks of rain and heavy showers to the Low Countries and France, these reaching Germany. Poland will have some heavy thundery showers breaking out, whilst Austria and Hungary should be dry and warm.
A fair day for Finland and the Baltic States with sunny spells here. There will be sunshine over most of Sweden, although some showers to the south. Cloud and some patchy rain later in Denmark and the far south of Norway.
