Today
Fine, dry and sunny across the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and northern France today and becoming warmer. An area of heavy rain will lie across southern France and gales and southern Germany and The Alps with plenty of heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms across Poland. Dry across northern parts of Germany. Dry and sunny across Norway, Sweden and eastern Finland with heavy showers for western Finland. Very warm across the Balkans today with sunny spells and a few heavy afternoon showers across the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and western Turkey. Sunny and dry across Greece, the Ukraine, Romania, Russia and the Baltic States. A few sharp showers develop across Italy today but overall fine, warm and sunny. Very warm and mostly sunny across Portugal, Spain into the Balearics.

A warm, summer's day to come across England and much of France across into Belgium, Holland, Denmark and Germany. Expect a few showers for southern France and the far north of Spain with a few heavy showers around the Balearics. A number of showers as well are forecast across Italy, The Alps into the former Yugoslavia, southern Poland and some of these may be thundery. Fine, warm and sunny across Greece and western Turkey with showers in the east. Sunny and warm across northern Poland, the Baltic States and Belarus while heavy showers affect Russia. Much of Scandinavia will be fine and dry with sunny spells today with rain in the far north of Finland, Sweden and Norway.
