Fine in southern and eastern Europe, but cloud and showery rain to the north

Thursday
A few showers are likely over the mountains of Spain today. Portugal and the rest of Spain should be fine with good spells of sunshine. More fair weather across most of the Mediterranean with the Balearic's, Italy, southern France, Greece and Turkey all experiencing mainly dry weather and lots of warm sunshine.
Across central parts fronts will spread east bringing some outbreaks of rain and heavy showers to the Low Countries and France, these reaching Germany. Poland will have some heavy thundery showers breaking out, whilst Austria and Hungary should be dry and warm.
A fair day for Finland and the Baltic States with sunny spells here. There will be sunshine over most of Sweden, although some showers to the south. Cloud and some patchy rain later in Denmark and the far south of Norway.

Friday
An area of low pressure brings heavy rain and strong winds to northern Spain and the west of France. High pressure gives fair conditions through the rest of Spain and Portugal. More sunshine across the Balearic Isles and Italy as well as Greece. A few showers affecting parts of Turkey although Romania and Bulgaria should stay fair.
Some fair weather for the Low Countries and Germany with more sunshine to come here. Switzerland, Austria and Hungary will be remaining fine as well with more sunshine, although cloud and showery outbreaks of rain affecting eastern Poland.
A front brings cloud and some showery bursts of rain through southern Sweden and southern Norway with cloud and bits of rain into the Baltic States too. Fair over Denmark with more sunshine and dry weather here. Central and northern parts of Scandinavia will be brighter and dry with good spells of sunshine.
