Unsettled across northern Europe, with the south being fair and dry

Another showery day to come across England and France today mixed with sunnier spells though the far south of France looks dry and sunny.
An area of rain will affect Norway, Sweden across to the Baltic States into Russia, Belarus and into Hungry and Austria. Lots of heavy showers too are expected across Germany and Poland. Hot, dry and sunny weather continues across Portugal and Spain with sunny weather across the Balearics into Corsica, Sardinia into Italy, Greece and Turkey.
Very warm to hot across The Balkans today with high pressure to give a dry, sunny day to Bulgaria, Romania, the former Yugoslavia and much of the Ukraine. Rain is expected across Belgium, Holland and Denmark.
Monday
A fair day through Spain and Portugal, although there will be a few thundery showers breaking out inland. Mainly fair through the Balearics, although a chance of a shower in northern Italy. Most of Greece and Turkey will be dry with some sunny spells, although some showers spreading through Romania and Bulgaria.
Increased cloud over western and northern France, these reaching the Low Countries later. Most of Germany and Poland should be fair with sunny spells, and staying fair over Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Low pressure to the north of the country bringing cloud and rain through Finland and the Baltic States. Sunny spells and showers over northern and western Norway, with just an odd shower affecting Denmark.
