Best sunshine through southern Europe, but some showers to the north

Thursday
A fair but breezy day through Portugal and parts of Spain, plenty of summer sunshine, although there is the threat of a shower inland. Some showers affecting the south coasts of France. Most of Italy and Greece should be fair with good spells of sunshine, and it will be very warm here too. Staying warm across Turkey.
A few showers over northern France, but central parts of the country should be dry. There will be heavy showers across the Low Countries and Germany, although into Poland the weather stays dry. More dry weather to come in Switzerland, Austria and Hungary.
To the north conditions are more unsettled and cooler. A few showers for Denmark and western Norway. Further showers in Sweden with the chance of more persistent rain affecting Finland and the Baltic States.

Friday
Plenty of sunshine to come across Iberia and the western Mediterranean through today. It is going to be feeling warm here too. More sunshine extends through much of France and southern Germany, although a few showers may affect the Low Countries and northern Germany.
Some cloud over the north of Italy but generally the country should be fine with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come across Greece and feeling warm here. Staying fine and sunny for Turkey, and the sunshine extends into Bulgaria and Romania too.
To the north low pressure dominates across Scandinavia. This brings an unsettled day with rain in Finland and the Baltic States. Heavy showers affect southern Sweden and Norway as well as Denmark.
