Fine across the Mediterranean
Today
Hot, dry and sunny weather will prevail across England into France and Spain. Lots of showers are expected across Germany and western parts of Poland. Fine across eastern Poland. Mainly dry across Belgium and Holland with just a few showers. Rain is expected across Denmark. Much of Norway and Sweden should be fair and dry today but an area of heavy rain and showers will lie from Finland south across Russia into the Ukraine. For the Baltic States, Belarus, Hungry and Romania lots of sunshine but some afternoon showers develop. Settled and warm across the Balkans today with lots of sunshine for the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Bulgaria into Turkey. A warm, summer's day across the Mediterranean across Italy into the Balearics.

Rain and showers to come across England today but still very warm with a risk of heavy thunderstorms and some too across northern France. Sunny and hot across Spain, Portugal and much of France. Heavy rain spreads into Norway but sunny and dry across Sweden and south into Denmark, Germany and much of Poland, just a few showers in the far south. Mainly dry across the Low Countries , Holland into Denmark and Germany with sunny skies. Rain clears from Finland but it looks wet across western Russia into the Ukraine. Expect a scattering of showers across the former Yugoslavia and Romania with lots of warm sunshine across Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Another fine, sunny and warm day across Italy, Austria and Switzerland.
