Cloud and rain in northern areas, but lots of sunshine and very warm weather to the south
Thursday
Cloud bubbling up again this afternoon across central parts of Spain, and this may produce an odd shower over the mountains. A few thunderstorms for southern parts of France and into Switzerland, with the chance of some thicker cloud and showery rain affecting northwest France. A few showers for Germany and Poland, but mainly dry in Austria and Hungary.
High pressure brings largely fair weather into Italy, although there could be some thundery showers in the far north. Further sunshine to come over Turkey and this also affecting Bulgaria and Romania.
Some cloud and a few showers over the Baltic States with showers in Finland. Much of Sweden will be dry with sunny spells here, whilst showers affect most of Norway. Denmark will be bright with sunny spells throughout.

Cloud and some rain affecting the far northwest of Spain today. For the rest of Spain and Portugal the day is going to be fair with lots of sunshine. A few showers affecting southern France, but for the balearics, Italy, Greece and Turkey the day is going to be sunny and dry as well as very warm. The sunshine extends into Bulgaria and Romania too.
An area of cloud and thundery showers extends through Poland and into Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland. Some rain reaching the rest of France, but the rest of the country and the Low Countries and well as Germany should be dry with sunny spells.
An unsettled day across the British Isles and Ireland, with more rain and showers through Norway and Sweden as well as parts of Denmark. A few showers over eastern Finland and the Baltic States.
