Hot across Iberia, eastern Europe
Today
Unsettled and windy today across the United Kingdom with plenty of heavy showers and these extend south into northern parts of France and across into Belgium, Holland, Denmark and northern Germany. An area of heavy rain will lie from Norway into eastern parts of Germany but mainly dry and sunnier across southern France and southern Germany. Just a few showers across the Alps today. Much of Poland looks dry and mostly sunny as does the Baltic States and Belarus. A few showers today for Sweden but sunny and dry across Finland today. Unsettled, hot and showery across Russia with thunderstorms. Much of The Ukraine will also be hot but dry and sunny and this dry, hot weather will extend down across Romania into Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Sunny and hot as well across the former Yugoslavia into Italy. Fine across the Balearics today with lots of very warm to hot sunshine across Spain and Portugal.

Another day of sunshine and showers across England, Norway, northern France, Belgium, the Netherlands into Denmark, western Germany and Sweden. Fine and sunny across eastern Germany, the south of France and southern parts of Germany. Warm and sunny across Poland while heavy showers will affect the Baltic States, western Finland and Russia. Sunny and warm across eastern parts of Finland. Hot and mainly dry across the Ukraine, Hungry, the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece. Fine and sunny across the Mediterranean today with sunny, warm weather across Italy. A few showers may affect the far north of Spain otherwise hot, dry and sunny across Spain and Portugal.
