An area of heavy rain is expected across England and northern France with gales in the channel. Expect showers across Belgium into Holland and Denmark. Sunny and warm across the south of France. Lots of warn sunshine across Germany, Poland into Hungry, Austria and the former Yugoslavia into all of Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey. Quite hot across Turkey and Greece today. Some showers to come for parts of the Ukraine. Lots of heavy showers to come across Finland, the Baltic States into northern parts of Russia today. A fine, summery day to come across the Mediterranean today with long sunny spells across Italy into the Balearics into Spain and Portugal. Dry as well across Norway into Sweden with sunny spells.

It's a day of sunshine and showers the United Kingdom and northern France today. An area of heavy rain will lie from Norway across Denmark, The Netherlands into Belgium, Germany and southern France. Fine and dry across Poland into Poland, the Baltic States, Belarus and Hungry with good sunny spells. Showers are forecast across Finland with heavy thundery showers across Russia and western parts of the Ukraine, dry in the east with sunny skies. Just a few sharp showers will develop across the former Yugoslavia and Romania with another sunny and hot day in store for Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey. Long sunny spells as well across Italy into central and southern Spain while a few heavy showers are possible across north east Spain. Fine and sunny again across the Balearics into Corsica and Sardinia.
