Rain or showers through many central and northern areas, but better to the south
Tuesday
More showers to come across the United Kingdom, Belgium, Holland, Denmark into Sweden. These showers will be interspersed with sunnier spells. A wet day across France with heavy rain with a few showers across western Germany, fine and sunny across eastern Germany across into Poland and the Baltic States. today and still chilly. Rain is forecast across Norway with showers across Finland and some heavy ones across western parts of Russia and Belarus.
Mainly fine and sunny across Portugal and Spain today but there is a risk of some heavy showers and thunderstorms around the Balearic's. Lots of very warm sunshine across Italy into the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey.
Sunny and hot too across Romania and the Ukraine. Expect some heavy showers across the Alps but dry and sunny across Austria and Hungry.
Wednesday
Low pressure is going to be in control of the weather through central parts of Europe. Cloud and rain affecting western France, with some heavy showers through the Low Countries and Germany. These showers extending into Switzerland and Austria as well as Hungary. More persistent rain through Poland, some of it heavy.
A fair day through the Mediterranean with good spells of sunshine for most. It should be generally dry, although there will be some showers through parts of Greece and perhaps over northern Italy as well.
To the north Finland will be dry with some sunny spells. Cloud and some rain as well as windy conditions affect the Baltic States. Denmark will have some sunny spells too, but should be dry. Some rain in southern Norway, although to the north of should be dry overall with sunny spells, although heavy showers in the far north.
