Fine across the Mediterranean
Today
Fine and dry today across England but rain will affect western France with showers in the east, sunny and dry in the south. Rain is expected across Belgium, Holland and The Netherlands with showers for western Germany across the Alps into Italy and these may be thundery. Showers too for the former Yugoslavia across into Romania, the Ukraine into eastern Poland and the Baltic States. Eastern Germany and western Poland will be dry and sunny. Very showery across Norway and Sweden today with fewer showers for Finland and sunnier. Hot and sunny weather today across Russia with showers across Hungry. Lots of very warm sunshine across Greece and Turkey today. Warm across Spain and Portugal, Sunny here but a few showers for north east Spain.
Wednesday
A dry day across much of England on Wednesday. The weather is looking very showery across mainland Europe with lots of heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms from France across the Low Countries, Germany into Norway, Sweden, Poland, Belarus into Hungry, the western Ukraine, The Baltic States and Finland. These will be interspersed with sunnier spells. Hot, dry and sunny across Russia into the eastern Ukraine south into Romania, Bulgaria. Thundery showers to across Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy but sunny in the south. Hot, dry and sunny weather will prevail across Portugal, Spain and across into the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.
