Fine and summery across the Mediterranean

Today
Mostly dry and sunnier across England today and a better day across northern France with sunny spells Fine in the far south of France as well. Expect sunshine and showers for Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Germany into Norway and Sweden. Heavy, thundery showers will affect the Alps and Switzerland with persistent rain across Hungry and Austria. A number of heavy showers are forecast for western Poland, The Baltic States into Belarus and the Ukraine. Sunny and dry for eastern Poland and south across Romania, the former Yugoslavia into Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Lots of summery sunshine is expected across Italy, into Corsica, Sardinia, the Balearics across into Spain and Portugal.

Tuesday
Rain spreads into western Britain but across all of France into Belgium, Holland, into the Netherlands into Denmark and across all of Germany. Southern parts of Norway and Sweden will be dry while rain affect the north. An area heavy showers is forecast from Finland south into The Baltic States down Poland and across the Ukraine. Much of Russia looks hot and sunny though one or two thunderstorms may develop in the west later in the day. Sunny and very warm as well across Romania, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. A few late showers will develop across northern Italy but overall sunny and very warm across the country today. The hot, sunny weather will continue across Spain and Portugal.
