Hot through central & eastern Europe

Today
Expect sunny spells and a few showers across England today but mainly dry and sunny into much of France. Windy with frequent, heavy showers across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, The Netherlands and into northern parts of Germany. Fine and dry across southern Germany and south across the Alps into Switzerland, Austria into Hungry. High pressure will also give Poland, Belarus, Russia, Finland, The Ukraine, Romania, The former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey dry, mostly sunny and very warm weather. Very warm and sunny as well into Italy, Corsica, Sardinia into the Balearics, Spain and Portugal. More cloud perhaps in the far south east of Spain with a coastal showers possible. Windy in the Aegean and Black Seas today.

Monday
Mainly dry across England today and fine and sunny south across all of France. Plenty of heavy showers to come across Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Holland, the far north of Germany and across Finland and the Baltic States. Fine and sunny into Russia, the Ukraine, Belarus, Hungry, Romania into the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. Some heavy showers may affect the Aegean and southern parts of Italy. Dry and sunny across northern Italy across into Spain and Portugal. Very windy across Denmark, southern Sweden and then the Baltic Region.
