Cloud and rain west of Iberia, staying fine through the Mediterranean

Wednesday
Heavy showers are expected across Portugal today but dry and sunny across Spain into the Balearics and eastward into Italy, Greece and Turkey.
Dry and mostly sunny into France, England and southern parts of Germany. Plenty of showers are again forecast across Norway, Sweden, northern Germany, The Low Countries, Denmark, Finland and western Russia long with the Baltic States.
Showers too to come across Belarus but lots of dry, sunny weather is forecast for Hungary, Romania, the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. Heavy showers with thunder is expected across The Alps today.

Thursday
Cloud and rain associated with low pressure will be affecting Portugal through today. There will be showers over northern Spain, but the south and east should be dry and bright. fair across the Mediterranean, with plenty of sunshine through Italy, Greece and Turkey.
An area of cloud and rain extending through France and into central parts of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Northern Germany and the Low Countries as well as Poland will be fair with lots of sunshine, and it should be dry too.
Low pressure over Scandinavia will be bringing cloud and showery rain over Norway and southern Sweden. Brighter spells and some showers in Denmark, with these extending through the Baltic States too. Some heavier showers for Finland.
