Showers in northern Europe but fair to the south
Tuesday
A few showers could affect western coasts of Portugal today. For the rest of Iberia the day should be dry with good spells of sunshine. Some heavy and thundery showers to come across western France, but the rest of the country should be dry with sunshine.
Staying fine through the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. The dry weather persisting across Austria and Hungary.
Italy will have a fine day with lots of sunshine, and it will be hot. Greece will be dry with more sunshine, and it should stay dry in southern Turkey, although some afternoon thunderstorms may form in the north. Bulgaria and Romania will be dry with sunny spells.
High pressure builds through Scandinavia with lots of dry weather here. More sunshine through Finland and the Baltic States. Some heavy showers over eastern Sweden. Much of Norway and Denmark stay dry.
Wednesday
A very warm day across Portugal and Spain on Wednesday. More sunshine and very warm conditions through the Balearics and into Italy too. Greece will be dry with more sunshine, and it will be remaining sunny through Greece. Bulgaria and Romania will be dry with sunny spells.
Fair over most of France and Switzerland, as well as Hungary and Austria. Plenty of sunshine here, and staying sunny through Poland and Germany. Some heavy and thundery showers affecting the Low Countries,
Some heavy showers through Denmark and southern Sweden. Norway will be dry with sunny spells. A few showers across Finland and the Baltic States, a few of them heavy.
