Fine and warm across the Mediterranean
Today
Rain spreads into western Britain but across all of France into Belgium, Holland, into the Netherlands into Denmark and across all of Germany. Southern parts of Norway and Sweden will be dry while rain affect the north. An area heavy showers is forecast from Finland south into The Baltic States down Poland and across the Ukraine. Much of Russia looks hot and sunny though one or two thunderstorms may develop in the west later in the day. Sunny and very warm as well across Romania, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. A few late showers will develop across northern Italy but overall sunny and very warm across the country today. The hot, sunny weather will continue across Spain and Portugal.
Wednesday
Cloudy but dry across England today. Lots of warm sunshine across France into Belgium and Holland. Expect showers from Denmark north into Norway and Sweden some heavy. An area of rain and heavy showers is expected from Finland into western Russia to the Ukraine. Across central Europe high pressure will keep it settled and dry with sunny spells across Germany, Poland, Belarus into Romania, the former Yugoslavia, Greece into Turkey. Just a few sharp showers may develop across parts of Italy late in the day but mainly dry and sunny. Fine and sunny from the Balearics west into Spain and Portugal.
