Hot across Spain, south east Europe

Today
An area of heavy, thundery rain is moving out of north east France across southern England, Belgium and Holland. Central and southern parts of France will be dry and sunny. Showers will affect Portugal today but hot and sunny across Spain into the Balearics. This fine weather will stretch across into Italy, into Greece and Turkey. Expect a dry day from Denmark northward into Sweden and Norway with sunny spells. Cooler in the north today. Lots of fine sunshine is expected across Germany, The Alps across Switzerland, Austria into Hungry and Poland. Dry as well and very warm across the former Yugoslavia, Romania, the Ukraine and Bulgaria. A windy day in the Aegean Sea today.

Wednesday
A better day across England with sunny spells. Some rain to come across northern France with showers in the west and sunny in the south. Rain spreads in across Norway and Sweden and this extends down into Denmark, Holland and Belgium. It stays fine and dry with sunny spells across Germany, Austria into Switzerland and into most of Poland. Just a few sharp showers in the far north of Poland with showers across Finland and western Russia. Mostly sunny, warm and dry across Hungry into Romania, all of the Ukraine into the former Yugoslavia into Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Very warm and sunny too across Italy into Corsica and Sardinia.
