Showers in southern Mediterranean
Today
Lots of very warm, sunny weather is expected across Europe today. Lots of sunshine across England, France into the Low Countries and this is expected to extend eastward across Denmark into Poland, southern Sweden, Finland into the Baltic Region and into Belarus. Rain is forecast today across Norway and northern Sweden as well as for much of Russia. Just a few showers possible to day across Romania but overall fine, dry and sunny across the Ukraine into the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Turkey. A few sharp showers may develop across Greece today with Italy fine and sunny. Sunny, dry and hot weather persists across Spain and Portugal with sunny skies across the Alps into Switzerland, Austria and Hungry.
Monday
It's another sunny and very warm day across England with rain across northern Britain. Most of Europe again will have a fine, summery day with morning fog patches clearing to lots of unseasonably warm sunshine from Iberia across France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark into Germany, Poland, Belarus into the Ukraine. Southward across Hungry, the former Yugoslavia into Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. A number of heavy showers with isolated thunderstorms south of Italy to Malta. Lots of warm sunshine will be on offer across Austria, Switzerland across the Alps into Spain and Portugal. A cool, cloudy day across Norway with some rain across Sweden but dry and sunnier across Finland and the Baltic States.
