Rain for many as autumn arrives across Europe

Sunday
A cloudy day across England and much of France into Belgium, Holland into Denmark and Sweden with outbreaks of rain. Cold across northern parts of Norway and Sweden with snow.
Fine and dry across Finland with sunny skies. More cloudy across Russia with rain from Russia into the Ukraine into Romania, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia and into Greece with heavy showers and thunderstorms across the central Mediterranean into southern Italy across into Sicily near the Balearics.
Fine and sunny across Spain and Portugal today and as well as the far south of France. Fine across the Alps into Germany and Poland with just a few light showers across The Baltic States into Belarus. A dry, sunny day to come across Turkey.

Monday
A fine day for Spain and Portugal today with good spells of sunshine. This fine weather affecting the west of France too. For much of northern France, the Low Countries and Germany the day is going to be cloudy and breezy with outbreaks of rain at times. More rain affects Poland with some strong winds here.
Italy will be cool with some showers in the east. Low pressure in the Aegean brings unsettled conditions, cloud and some rain or showers through Greece and Turkey, some of it heavy at times. Different conditions for Turkey and Bulgaria where there will be some good spells of sunshine.
To the north strong winds will be blowing through Finland and the Baltic States. There could be some cloud and rain over the far south of Sweden but most of the country will be dry and cold. Heavy showers in Norway.
