Heavy rain with gales comes into England, The North Sea into western France with a very wet and windy day across Portugal and Spain. Quite chilly across Spain today. Heavy showers are forecast across the Balearics into the far south of France and around Sicily. Most of France looks dry and it will be a dry day with sunny spells into Belgium, Holland, Denmark, all of Germany, across the Alps into Switzerland and Austria. Heavy showers are expected across Hungry, the former Yugoslavia into Bulgaria, Greece and from the far south of Italy into Libya. Rather cloudy but mainly dry across Turkey with lots of sunshine for Romania into the Ukraine, the Baltic States and Russia. Rather cold but a dry day across all of Scandinavia with sunny skies.

Very strong gales are expected across northern parts of Europe into the North Sea. Windy too across the central and eastern parts of the Mediterranean. An area of rain will lie from eastern Britain into Belgium, The Netherlands into eastern France with heavy showers for western France. And across Switzerland and Austria with heavy showers across the Balearics. Sunnier and drier across Spain too with a few showers in the north. Another heavy area of showers is expected from the far south of Italy to south of Greece. Fine across much of Italy. Cloudy but dry across Greece with sunny spells across much of Turkey. Lots of showers around the Black Sea and windy today. Fine and dry into Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia into Romania, The Ukraine, Russia into Poland and much of Germany. Feeling cold across Scandinavia but dry with sunny spells across Norway, Sweden and Finland.
