Fine across the Mediterranean

A fair, dry day across England. Lots of fine, dry and mostly sunny weather to come from France across into Belgium, Holland, Germany into Poland and Hungry. Expect a few showers around Denmark with rain and freezing rain across Norway. Dry and sunny into Sweden and Finland. Rain clears The Baltic States to sunny skies. Cloudy and wet with rain for Russia into western parts of the Ukraine into the former Yugoslavia where it looks heavy. Dry with sunny spells across Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey with rain into western parts of Romania. Rather cloudy and cool across Italy with rain and showers. A few showers will be scattered around Corsica and Sardinia. With a few near the east coast of Spain. Mostly a fine, sunny day across Portugal and Spain today and quite warm in the south. Sunny and dry across the Alps into Switzerland and Austria. Strong east winds will prevail in the Straits of Gibraltar.

It remains fine and dry across much of mainland Europe. Dry with sunny spells across England into the Low Counties, France into Poland with sunny spells. Sunny spells to into Belarus, The Ukraine, Romania and the former Yugoslavia. Fair and dry across Greece into Turkey. Some rain will persist across northern Italy, dry and sunnier in the south. A few sharp showers may affect the southern coasts of Spain and Portugal but mainly sunny and dry across Iberia. Lots of fine sunshine across The Alpine Region. Rain moves into Norway but a dry day across Sweden and Denmark Heavy rain is forecast for Finland and Russia into the Baltic States.
