Unsettled west Europe, dry in the east

Today
Some heavy showers with thunder will affect England today while and area of heavy rain falls across eastern parts of France and eastern Spain with heavy showers across western Iberia into the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Very windy in the western and central Mediterranean today into southern France. Fair and mainly dry across western France. Dry too today across Germany, Belgium, Holland and Denmark but with lots of cloud. Sunnier and dry into Poland, the Baltic States into Russia, Belarus, all of the Ukraine into Hungry, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece. Cold across Turkey with a mix of rain and snow in the west, fine in the west. Expect heavy rain across The Alps with a few showers across parts of Italy. Rain is expected across a windy Norway and Sweden but dry across most of Finland.

Very windy and very unsettled across much of the western and central part of the Mediterranean with frequent heavy, thundery showers as gales affect western and southern coasts of Iberia and also the central Mediterranean. A wet day with some heavy rain from England across France across the Alps into northern Italy. Dry across southern Italy today. Better across Portugal and Spain with just a few showers for eastern Spain. Windy though and feeling cold. Fair and dry across Norway, Sweden into Denmark, Holland and Belgium. Eastern Europe remains settled with a dry day of sunny spells from Germany east across Poland, The Baltic States, Russia, Belarus, The Ukraine into the former Yugoslavia, Romania and Greece. Sunny today across Turkey.
