Showers in the west but fair for many
Thursday
Some rain to come across Portugal and western parts of Spain through Monday. Most of the rest of Spain will be dry with good spells of sunshine. More sunshine through the Mediterranean extending into Italy and western Greece. A significant area of low pressure in the eastern Mediterranean bringing rain to eastern Greece and Turkey.
Across central Europe conditions should be fair. There will be sunny spells and it should be breezy over France. The Low Countries and Germany will be dry with good spells of sunshine to come here, and it should remain fair through Poland as well. Sunny spells and dry weather in Switzerland and Austria.
A fine day to come through Denmark and most of Norway. Sunny spells and dry weather in the Baltic States, with a few showers in Finland. fair through Sweden with sunny spells here.

Cloud and outbreaks of rain will be affecting the western coasts of Portugal and Spain through today. Much of the rest of Spain should be fair although heavy showers could affect southeast coasts and the Balearic Islands. Fair weather should be affecting much of Italy with sunny spells here. More sunshine in Greece with some showers to come through Turkey.
Central Europe is dominated by high pressure and this will be bringing morning mist and fog to many. However, this is going to be clearing to leave France and the Low Countries with plenty of sunshine. More sunshine for Germany and Austria as well as Switzerland. Poland and Hungary will be fair too once morning mist has cleared.
To the north there will be a few showers in western Norway and Denmark. Much of Sweden should be fair with lots of sunny spells here. Cloudier skies through Finland although conditions are expected to be dry.
