Cold and windy with rain across Iberia

Today
Some rain to come across Britain today but dry across France into Belgium, Holland, The Netherlands and into Germany with sunny spells after some morning fog patches clears. Cold across Scandinavia but dry with sunny spells. Temperatures to remain below freezing across Finland and Russia today with snow across Russia. A lot of low cloud and fog across Hungry, The Ukraine into Romania. Dry with sunny spells across Poland and Belarus with rain reaching Greece. Cold but a dry day across Greece. Heavy, frequent showers are expected across southern parts of Italy westward across into the Balearics with rain across Portugal, Spain and northern Italy with strong and gusty winds from western Portugal into central parts of the Mediterranean. Cold but dry and sunny across Switzerland and Austria.

Gales and rain spread in across northern Britain today but dry across England. Some light rain may affect the far north of France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark with rain and snow into parts of Norway and Sweden. Largely dry but cold across Finland and Russia with sub zero temperatures all day. Cloudy with snow flurries across the Baltic Region, Belarus into the Ukraine. Dry and cold across Romania with rain into the former Yugoslavia into Greece and Italy. Continued dry and sunny across Turkey and Bulgaria. Heavy showers persist across the Balearics today but mainly dry across Spain and Portugal today. Sunny across the Alps into Switzerland and Austria today. Lots of sunshine across Poland today.
