Cold and fine in eastern Europe but rain affects the west

High pressure across Europe will give a large part of Europe a dry day and again colder in the east. Some light rain to come across England today. Dry from France into Belgium, Holland, Denmark into Germany with varying cloud and sunnier spells. Very cold across Russia with a few snow flurries. Dry across the Baltic States with a cold, sunny day across Finland, Sweden and Norway. A good deal of dry weather as will across the Balkans today while showers will affect Greece and again southern parts of Italy. Sunny and dry across Turkey and northern parts of Italy into Switzerland and Austria. Cloudy and windy across Portugal but dry and sunnier across Spain.

High pressure over eastern Europe brings plenty of fine conditions here. Much of western Russia, Finland and the Baltic States will be chilly and dry, although morning fog could be a problem. More fair weather over southern Norway and Sweden.
The dry and fair weather spread through Germany and Poland, as well as Austria and Switzerland. here it will be dry with some sunny spells. Staying fair and mild over France will with more sunshine here.
Some cloud and rain affects the west of Portugal and it will be windy here. Into Spain it should be dry with sunny spells, and the dry fine weather spreads across the Mediterranean into Italy. Western Greece will be fair, but cloud and rain will affect the Aegean coasts and much of Turkey too.
