More dry weather over much of central Europe, but rain affects the eastern Mediterranean
Monday
Some rain to come across Portugal and western parts of Spain through Monday. Most of the rest of Spain will be dry with good spells of sunshine. More sunshine through the Mediterranean extending into Italy and western Greece. A significant area of low pressure in the eastern Mediterranean bringing rain to eastern Greece and Turkey.
Across central Europe conditions should be fair. There will be sunny spells and it should be breezy over France. The Low Countries and Germany will be dry with good spells of sunshine to come here, and it should remain fair through Poland as well. Sunny spells and dry weather in Switzerland and Austria.
A fine day to come through Denmark and most of Norway. Sunny spells and dry weather in the Baltic States, with a few showers in Finland. fair through Sweden with sunny spells here.
Tuesday
An odd shower affecting the coasts of Portugal through today. Scattered showers for Spain too, but more persistent rain extends through the Balearics. This affects the west and southwest of France too, some of it heavy at times.
High pressure continues to bring fine weather to most of central Europe. The east of France, Germany, Poland, Austria and Switzerland will all be dry. There will be some morning mist patches, but these clearing to leave some bright or sunny spells. The sunshine extends into southern Norway and Sweden, as well as Denmark.
Low pressure in the eastern Mediterranean brings different weather here. There will be cloud and showers affecting eastern Greece, with the chance of some heavier rain and strong winds across Turkey and Cyprus. Fair for Bulgaria and Romania with some sunshine here.
